n Gustavo Dudamel förlänger sitt kontrakt som chefsdirigent för Göteborgs symfoniker till 2012, skriver SR:s "Mitt i musiken".
Den blott 28-årige venezue- lanske Dudamel blev chef för symfoniorkestern 2007. Han inledde sitt samarbete med dem sommaren 2005 när han med kort varsel tog över en konsert vid BBC Proms i London. Han är även nyutnämnd musikalisk ledare för Los Angeles Philharmonic, en post han tog över från Esa-Pekka Salonen.
